Gawith Hoggarth Peppermint

Knowing just how poor the 10g Gawith Hoggarth tap boxes (as seen on the left) are at keeping snuff fresh, I got a 25g tub of this one. Usually those 25g plastic tubs aren't too bad but the contents of this one were definitely past it. Dry, fine and with only a hint of peppermint, this needed urgent rehydration, which it got. That seemed to help restore some of the scent but I have to conclude that the only sensible way of buying Gawith Hoggarth snuffs is in bulk, either 250g or 500g at a time. Not a lot of good for sampling purposes but I will carry on buying their Kendal Brown and CM in bulk. The rest of their snuffs may have to do without me.
