10mm WW2 Americans
The first of my 10mm armies for Blitzkrieg Commander and now as complete as it needs to be. They are intended primarily for the Tunisian, Sicilian and Italian campaigns but will also see action in NW Europe. The models are mostly Pendraken with some Minifigs and a handful of Magister Militum (Perrin). All are painted, based and ready for action. I should be able to field any battlegroup I want to with this lot! But there again..... who knows? I might think of something I want to add to it. Suggestions on a postcard... or leave a comment here!

Painting
Paints are usually Vallejo (V) or Foundry (F) with some old Citadel(C) or Coat d'Arms (CA), all on a black undercoat (Halford's matt black spray primer). All get a "magic wash" with brown or black pigment. Magic Wash is Johnson's Klear, diluted 1:4 with water, then pigment (paint or ink) added to suit. Once the bases are finshed, all models are completed with a spray off CA matt varnish.
Vehicles
Base Colour - V887 Brown Violet or CA Olive Drab spray (works very well).
Drybrush with F29A (Moss) then F30A (Raw Linen) then F30C (Raw Linen).
Usual Magic Wash (brown) plus a final light drybrush.
