15mm Scale Fantasy Figures

 

Jeff Moore has compiled as list of manufacturers currently producing figures suitable for fantasy wargames in 15mm scale. I have added to the list as far as my knowledge (and collection of catalogues) allows, but more information would be gratefully received.

 

Jeff writes:

"Well, despite the fact that I'm a dyed-in-the-wool 25mm man (except for collecting 6mm and 15mm Ratmen for display), I do have a slew of 15mm catalogs, so for the benefit of the Chipco list I sat down this weekend with my catalogs (hardcopy and online) and concocted this semi-comprehensive list of all 15mm fantasy mini lines (including terrain) currently available (and some no longer available). The list is alphabetical by manufacturer. If you're aware of a manufacturer I'm missing, or if I left out a favorite line of minis, post it and I'll update my list. (Especially details of Alternative Armies and Nafziger.) I included some, but by no means all, historical lines, especially if they appealed to me from a "this would work as a fantasy army" standpoint. I also included some 10mm lines, because a 10mm Human could pass for a 15mm Halfling, or a 10mm Orc for a 15mm Goblin, and so on. Note that most of the minis people have asked for are available, such as Halflings, Centaurs, Pegasi, Demons, etc. No Insectmen, unfortunately, apart from some giant Beetles and Spiders."

 

Now, on to the list (links where available, addresses where known). Note that many of the human figures are from ranges which are sold as historical types, but that certainly doesn't exclude them from use in fantasy games.
