I find most American sweet scotch snuffs to be far to sweet for my taste, so sweet as to be cloying and unpleasant after a short time. Not so with Stoker's Sweet Dry Snuff, which makes it even more of a shame that Stoker's are ceasing production and sale of snuff due to the restrictive new laws on tobacco in the US. Stoker's Sweet is clearly the same snuff as their Plain but with the added sweetener, which I suspect is probably molasses. The Sweet is every bit as fine and dry as the plain and the colour is the same light tan. The usual caveat applies - take with care! It really is that fine and dry. Practice with such snuffs will make for a rewarding experience though. I am so glad I got a chance to try this one before it vanishes for ever.
