Frankia
Population 1.5 million
Tech Level 9
National Morale 3
Conquest
Non-aligned
Named for the original settler here, Bernt Frank, this nation grew up around his extended clan. His family are still the hereditary rulers of the country with the latest ruler being Armand Bernt. Armand has a particularly aggressive foreign policy and he seems bent on the conquest of all of his neighbours, and possibly total domination of Arxsis.
Frankia is the most industrialised nation on Squallia, which does not really say much as the mainstay of the planet is its agriculture and rich sea-life.
Armed Forces
Main Force troops use the PDF reaction tables. Commandos use Star Army reaction tables.
All Officers, NCOs and Commandos wear Hard Armour. All other infantry wear Soft Armour.

Commandos
The Frankians, like most other nations, also have a Covert Ops Commando (CoC). CoCs generally operate in section strength, although they can very rarely be found operation at platoon strength. CoCs do not have integral transport and are usually assigned the most appropriate means for reaching their target, so that they can be inserted into the target area stealthily. An ideal mission for the CoCs is one where they are in and out before anyone knows it, and no shots are fired (although manu things may blow up shortly afterwards).
