Barr Family History

While most of my family history material is to be found on ancestry.co.uk and genesreunited.com I will leave some documents here.

The descendants of John Barr (1743-1813) of Bainton, East Yorkshire JohnBarr1743b.pdf

The ancestors of Maisy Rose Kellow (my granddaughter) MaisyRoseKellowA.pdf

My great-grandfather Walter Chapman's trawler, the S.T. Windward Ho in St Andrew's Dock (the fish dock), Hull. Taken in the early 20th century, probably before WW1. Walter Chapman is on the top left, in the trilby hat and long coat. On the back of the original photograph is written in the handwriting of his son, my grandfather Jarvis Whitehead Chapman:

Skipper   Walter Chapman

Mate   Tom Foyston Junr

Chief Engineer   Blades

Bosun

Cook

Deckhands

Trimmer

If anyone can identify any of the others please do get in touch or leave a comment below.
